Stripped Back

I see there is a lot happening this month with sugar free September. What a great idea. I love the fact that its becoming more and more acknowledged that sugar can be so detrimental to health.

Especially the white kind, refine kind that offer nothing at all nutritionally.

I lost 5-6kg straight up without any exercise at all when i weaned myself of sugar, I eat fats the good ones, I dont count calories or ANYTHING i just eat nutritionally and listen to my body.

I am not a gym junkie, or a clean eating fanatic, I still eat sugars but the difference now is I eat to fuel my body so if I have sugar it may be in the form of raw honey, dark chocolate, my healthy probiotic healing drink or kombucha etc etc. (More about Kombucha later its so good!!!!)

I am not striving for the perfect size, or a six pack or to compete in a marathon. I want to nurture and heal and love this wonderful body I was blessed with.

So in saying all that above I really want to take up this whole refined sugar free September but I want to really strip it back this month and do a whole clean out.

Being healthy doesnt start and finish with food, Although I love beautiful natural organic foods. Everything around us in our environment affects us. What we put on our skin, be in nail polish, creams lotions, make up, hair spray seriously the list is endless. The cleaners we use in our house, Air fresheners in our car, pesticide in gardens.

We really live in a world we are so unconscious of.

Then the mind, its seriously so powerful. Every thought we create shapes our world, be in our relationships, or our bodies. There is just too much to cover in all these topics but in saying that today this month I want to share what I am doing.

This morning I cleaned out my bathroom of all nail polishes, nasty sprays and makeup which I haven't worn for months and months, I use natural organic products now and I make my own coconut oil whipped body butter- omg its so divine

I only use a mix of vinegar, tee tree/eucalyptus/lemon for cleaning. I use natural fibre washable cleaning cloths.

Well alot of the above I have been doing already, Its my starting ground to dig deeper :-)

This is an absolute fantastic read. Great recipies

New beginnings

There are constantly new beginnings all around us. We learn something, we process it, learn from it (hopefully for the better) then with the right amount of nourishment change occurs.

"What you sow is what you reap"

I always felt I was a little different. I feel like I am incredibly deep thinker even as a child I would think think think. I always had so much internal questioning and seeking going on.

Not all my choices I have made up until this age of 27 have been wonderful. I wont and don't need to go into and detail about the past. Right now I am pressing into this wonderful new place. I am learning so much every day.

I feel so lucky to be on this journey. One day I might share my story if I feel like it would be of some healing to some.

Anyhow this is a place to share new beginnings of healing, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Anything and anyone can heal themselves completely. Nothing is stagnant. Only our mind can hinder us.

Let this be our inspiring happy place to share, create, love and inspire
